
We invite you to join us for our 19th Annual Educational Symposium, on September 17-19, 2026, at the Flamingo Resort & Spa (the "Hotel").
This year, the Conference will be held over 1.5 days. General session will commence Friday morning and conclude around 12:30 PM on Saturday.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the California Sleep Society, ("CSS") welcome everyone! Please join us Thursday night at 5:15 PM in the Golden Room for a Meet and Greet, a beverage and an appetizer. Let's have a great weekend.
Following the Meet and Greet, please stay for Lilly's Product Theater at 6:00 PM, which will be held in the adjacent Yarrow Room. The precise presentation title will be announced shortly. Beverages and elevated finger foods will be available.
Saturday's Agenda culminates in the final Product Theater (mixer format) presented by Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
Wrap up the Symposium with a curated-wine-tasting hosted by CSS at the Hotel! It's a wonderful opportunity to network and unwind in a casual environment. Space is limited to the first 75 people to RSVP during registration, so be sure to claim your spot early.

CSS is a Dental Board of California Registered Education Provider (RP6035). One unit of credit for each hour of class instruction with a maximum of eight hours per day will be offered.

It is the shipper's responsibility to have any deliveries coordinated, to the extent possible, with the Hotel's Front Desk in advance of pick-up as FedEx visits daily.
HOTEL ROOM BLOCK, RESORT FEE AND PARKING:
The Hotel is located at 2777 4th Street, Santa Rosa, California. The Hotel's phone number is 707-545-8530.
We have secured a room block at the Hotel. The discounted room rate ($199 + tax) will be available until August 18, 2026, or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.
As well, we have secured a discounted resort fee, which is $19 per night. This fee includes: complimentary parking, a self-guided art tour, access to fitness classes, spoken wellness activities, and afternoon tea in the lobby.

OVERVIEW
Poster abstracts are now being accepted for the 19th Annual Educational Symposium.
The California Sleep Society (“CSS”) welcomes relevant topics related to sleep medicine (submissions will be reviewed and approved by blinded reviewers of CSS’ BOD). Your abstract/presentation should be forward-thinking and remain focused on advancing and sharing developments in the profession of sleep medicine.
Up to ten entries will be selected for display on a first-come, first-served basis meeting all criteria. If your abstract is accepted for display, we will confirm via email.
Poster authors must be available onsite the poster display location during the allotted time on Friday, September 18, 2026. The precise hours will be announced as we approach the Symposium start date. You must be registered to participate.
Presentation submission: The submission deadline is updated to July 15, 2026. Submit the following to: California Sleep Society.

-References, tables, figures or any other graphics are not permitted. Brand names may not be used in titles and are limited to two references with the submission body
Guidelines for poster presentation:
- Size 3’x4’. Vertical orientation is preferred. A poster easel for display will be provided
- Relative pictures and graphs should be labelled and captioned
- Creative and authentic designs are highly appreciated
- You must bring your poster printed to the Symposium

Eligibility: CSS encourages the following disciplines to submit: medical directors, attending physicians, physician assistants, technicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrators, practice managers, consultant pharmacists, researchers, mental health professionals, residents, students, and all other professionals practicing in the sleep healthcare continuum.

BADGE IDENTIFICATION:
All attendees must wear a badge. Help us reduce conference costs and promote sustainability - please recycle your badge holder and lanyard before leaving the Symposium by dropping it off at the registration desk.
THINGS TO DO:
The Hotel is located in the heart of Wine Country and is located in the Valley of the Moon, and September is California Wine Month. Please visit the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts and/or the Charles M. Schulz Museum, which are within a 15-minute drive. CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel your registration, please inform us via email as soon as possible. If your cancellation request is received by August 1, 2026, we will refund your initial payment less a $25 cancellation fee. If your cancellation request is received by August 20, 2026, we will automatically transfer your registration payment to the CSS 20th Annual Educational Symposium to be held in 2027.
